About Us...

      Green Mountain Corporation was incorporated in Ventura, California by the late James Dillon.  Mr. Dillon was a visionary and an entrepreneur with regards to quality biodegradable cleaning products originally designed to meet the stringent specifications of the United States Military.  Mr. Dillon coined the motto, “A History of Quality Products” and over 30 years later, his original motto couldn’t ring more true.  Mr. Dillon worked tirelessly with the United States Navy at Port Heuneme, California to come up with the most effective, cost efficient descaling product to aid in the cleaning of the AEGIS weapons systems.  Over time, he added two more products, D-5 and A-29.  The D-5 formulation is still the cleaner / degreaser of choice for many US Naval posts, ships, Coast Guard posts and marine stores throughout Southern California.

      Today, Green Mountain is growing.  Our operations have gone from the original one man operation in Ventura to a state of the art manufacturing facility located in the Los Angeles area.  Although the original D-5 product is only available to the United States Government, its formulation is the basis upon which our newest product is created.  BIOTUFF® is now offered to the commercial, industrial, marine and automotive markets as “The Toughest Clean For Everything.”

     With a rich past that included the efforts of the original founder and his exceptional work with the United States Military, “A History of Quality Products,” is more than just a motto, it is the foundation of our business here at Green Mountain.
